Log Cabins will never be the same again thanks to our revolutionary Warmalog® range! This Severn log cabin is fully insulated to help keeping the cabin warm in the winter and cool in the summer. This new concept consists on a 62mm sandwich of timber and polyurethane coupled with 24mm double glazed sealed units made with 4mm toughened glass panes to ensure thermal efficiency and noise reduction. The excellence on heat retention for this cabin is achieved by adding thick insulated floor and roof to the design.
As well as the walls of the Warmalog® Cabin, the 50mm floor and 60mm roof are also insulated. These, along with the double-glazed sealed window units are thermal design factors that give these cabins a U-value of 0.69, which provides an excellent heat retention. This thermally-insulated cabin has better thermal insulation characteristics than competing brands, but at a very reasonable price.
This log cabin also has larger purlins for extra roof strength, and pressure treated floor bearers that keep its base protected against rot and insect infestation. Strong and secure, the Warmalog® has also an Espagnolette locking system on its wide-opening French Doors.
The Warmalog® is an easy to assemble quality timber building, which is well-suited to a number of uses, such as an office, work-out room or even as a private bar. It is the perfect extra room and it can be used regardless of the weather!
Adjustable Storm Braces
Our adjustable storm braces tie the Log Cabin roof to the rest of the building so it withstands stronger winds. Unlike other cabins on the market they are adjustable to allow the natural movement of the cabin, which helps to prevent gaps appearing between wall logs as the logs settle and move. |
Slow Grown Spruce
We use slow grown spruce for the walls of all our Log Cabins as it is better all round than pine! Spruce is less porous than Pine and so less likely to shrink, warp or split. We only select slowly grown timber from colder climates which also helps keep the timber more stable as the rings are densely packed. It is also a less resinous timber than Pine, which makes the possibility of sap ruining your clothes or furnishings much less likely. |
Pressure Treated Bearers
By pressure treating our floor bearers, we protect the lowest part of the building from rot and insect infestation. This forces the treatment deep into the timber using a large pressure treatment tank. It is costly but effective process that ensures years of protection against rot and insect infestation on the bearers with no need for the customer to re-treat this timber at any point during that time. |
Tall Walkthrough Height
With our extra tall doors, unless you are with customers who are over 1.86m tall you can walk right the way through without any danger of them bumping their head. |
Avoid Sagging Roofs
Our heavy duty 140mm or 210mm heigh by 45mm wide supporting roof beams prevent unsightly sagging. |
4 Point Door Lock System
Our doors feature our four point locking system, that comes with a hook, locking latch and two roller locks. We use a type of lock that has 6 pins and has been tested to BSEN 1303:2005 classification to ensure it is a safer, more secure locking system. Our windows have multipoint locking as well, using the same type of system as we supply with our uPVC windows and doors. |
Adjustable Hinges and Friction Stays
Our doors feature easily adjustable hinges allowing you to make minor changes if ever required. The windows on this range have the same friction stays as we supply on our uPVC windows, meaning that you can open the window and leave it open with just the hinges taking the load, with no need for a stay arm. These sets of hinges are stylish and supremely user-friendly.

Plastic Vents
We believe we are the only Log Cabin company to fit ventilation to the cabins as part of the kit. We have done this to help prevent condensation build up within the building. We use two pairs of plastic base plates, one round and one square. The external round vents have chamfers to help direct water away from the hole, the inner square vents have an integral fly screen to prevent insects from entering through the vent. The pair of vents allows a flow of air through the Log Cabin to help keep out musty smells.

24mm Double Glazing
The Warmalog comes complete with 24mm sealed window units for increased insulation. This is a single, ready-to-install unit comprising of two sheets of 4mm toughened glass with a 16mm spacer, which allows for optimum convection current between the glass, ensuring condensation-free windows. They are made in our own factory and fully conform to European Standard EN1279. |
Fully Insulated
The Warmalog is fully insulated, promoting heat retention and keeping the electricity bills down. We always supply Polyurethane insulation, a superior insulator than Rockwool or Polystyrene. We seal off the building from elements with thick insulation. The Warmalog achieves a low 'U' value of 0.69, which shows it has great insulation efficiency. |
